**There is usually a port-o-pot at the beginning of this trail, but it would be a good idea to be comfortable peeing in the woods.

Autumn Magic

Wild Plant Walk

Sunday, Nov 3, 11am - 3pm

Parkville, MD

*please note this date has been changed from Nov 10

Explore the rich meadows and forest edges of late Autumn, a time of sweetening persimmons, blackening walnuts, the return of the cold season's tender wild greens like mustard cresses, and the storing of energy and vitality in plant's underground roots, like wild parsnip, chicory, and dandelion.

This is my favorite time of year!

Make sure to dress in layers in case there is a chill. Bring a basket if you might like to collect walnuts or herbs.

This walk is $20 per person.

**There is usually an open bathroom and port-o-pot at the beginning and end of this walk, but it would be a good idea to be comfortable peeing in the woods if you need to.
